Project Return Peer Support Network (PRPSN) is a unique mental health nonprofit based in Huntington Park, California, serving Los Angeles County. As the first "peer" mental health program in California, PRPSN utilizes the lived experiences of its staff to support and serve individuals with mental health challenges. Their diverse programs, available in person, via phone, and online, are designed to support people at various stages of their recovery process. PRPSN offers a range of services, including peer support groups, a warm line for crisis support, the Hacienda of Hope residential program, the Un Paso Mas transitional housing program, and the El Centrito de Apoyo resource center. They also provide online peer support groups, community integration projects, peer education empowerment, and re-entry services. Additionally, PRPSN offers training and consultation services through the California Association of Peer Supporters Academy. By sharing their stories of recovery, PRPSN aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and provide hope and empowerment to those they serve. If you are experiencing a crisis, PRPSN encourages you to reach out to the Suicide Prevention hotline at 988 or text HOME to 741-741.
