Columbia College offers a wide range of classes from certificates to associate degree programs, including ESL. Columbia College recognizes the global effects of an ever-changing economy. With the tail end of a recession happening in the U.S., an increased demand on natural resources in the world, and the earth changing rotation on its axis, causing a multiple of natural disasters: the gap between the poor and the wealthy has grown tremendously. Still, the number of billionaires in the U.S. far exceeds that of any country in the world and the U.S. still remains the richest country, despite its import debt.
We, at Columbia College, decided that we could contribute to the change in the global gap, by efficiently training our students to work in fields that are not only hiring, but fields that are necessary because the demand for employees far exceeds the supply of them.
Our list of programs offered increases according to those numbers, to not only for our job-placement rate, but to increase the successes of former students, one person at a time.
Columbia College is dedicated to providing quality workforce development programs and services to meet the needs of Washington Metropolitan area?s residents and employers through occupation-specific training and language training.
