The Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. They are Southern California's largest speaker's forum for global issues and public affairs. Their mission is to facilitate forward-thinking events with leading experts in international and domestic affairs. They offer a variety of programs and events, including lectures, discussions, and forums, that tackle today's most pressing political issues. With a focus on in-depth analysis, civil discussion, and global perspectives, the Council strives to foster civic dialogue and a global community. Their members and audiences consist of thoughtful and civic-minded individuals who are passionate about discussing domestic and international affairs, politics, and policy. The Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall is proud to work closely with the Los Angeles Consular Corps, the second-largest consular community in the world, and offers honorary membership to Consuls General.
