The AMVETS National Service Officer Program is a nationwide service that provides support and assistance to veterans and their dependents. They offer information, counseling, and claims services to help veterans file for VA benefits. From health care benefits to vocational rehabilitation and employment, their experienced National Service Officers are knowledgeable in all aspects of veterans' benefits. They can assist with VA pension benefits, educational and training benefits, and even provide information on the VA Home Loan Guaranty. They can also help with military medals, official records, and homeless outreach. Accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs, these officers stay up to date with changes in VA regulations and policies to ensure they provide the best assistance possible. Donations to the AMVETS National Service Foundation are tax-deductible and directly benefit veterans.
