McCormick's Fish House & Bar is Seattle's classic seafood restaurant, reminiscent of traditional fish houses on the East Coast and San Francisco, and a Seattle dining institution for more than 30 years. Built in 1927 as Seattle's Oakland Hotel, the McCormick's Fish House building is now a bastion of old-Seattle in the shadow of the towering 76 story Columbia Center. Multi-level dining areas, aged dark wood and brass and walls thick with nostalgic memorabilia give McCormick's a traditional and intimate feel. McCormick's Fish House pioneered the fresh sheet in Seattle's restaurant scene. Originally featuring five or six items daily, today the restaurant features more than 20 varieties of fresh seafood listed daily on the ever-changing menu. The venerable bar features a full selection of liquors, beers, and an extensive wine list. McCormick's oyster bar also offers a wide selection of fresh oysters each day.
