From the Phantom Gourmet: Porcini's has the feel of an intimate European cafe. An open kitchen, colorful tiles and murals, and a glowing fireplace set the tone. The Mediterranean menu offers a wide range of choices, but it’s the pasta and risotto specials that have been garnering praise above all. Pasta dishes include Penne Bolognese, the classic Southern Italian meat and tomato sauce, feather-light potato Gnocchi, and Angel Hair with basil, garlic, and tomato. The risottos change daily, but on Phantom’s visit, he enjoyed a delectable Fisherman’s Risotto. Phantom’s Favorite: Risotto.
