But either works at this year-old restaurant, where Top Spanish chef Gabriel is bringing a bit of Valencia to Petworth. With a resumé that includes stints at Jaleo and Café Atlántico plus his own Iberian heritage, Gabriel has some serious Spanish cooking cred. Try classic dishes like gambas al ajillo (that’s garlic shrimp for those who no habla espanol) or paella marinera, chock-full of fresh scallops, calamari, shrimp, and mussels mixed up with short grain Valencia rice.
