As children of Cuban exiles, we were raised to love America and long for Cuba. And although we love hamburgers and apple pie, our family dinners consist of lechón y pasteles de guayaba along with a story from “the homeland.” So we’ve opened this restaurant not only for ourselves, but for our parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who left all that they knew so that we could know a better way of life.
