Just Detention International (JDI) is a health and human rights organization dedicated to ending sexual abuse in all forms of detention. They provide support and resources for prisoner rape survivors, advocate for federal policies to address the issue, promote safety for LGBTQ+ individuals in detention, and work to change the culture surrounding prisoner rape. JDI offers multimedia content, survivor resources, and service provider resources to educate and raise awareness about the global crisis of sexual abuse in detention facilities. They also share survivor stories to amplify the voices of those affected by this issue. Donations to JDI are used to directly support their mission and are currently being matched, doubling the impact of each contribution. With headquarters in Los Angeles and an East Coast office in Washington DC, JDI is making a significant impact in the fight against sexual abuse in detention.
