Inspired by the great farms, markets and ranches of California, the menu at The Greene House will change seasonally and will feature simple, clean and uncomplicated dishes. Ingredients will be sourced locally whenever possible and freshness is of the utmost importance. A well chosen wine list features wines from boutique wineries. California Craftsman architecture, inspired by the British Arts and Crafts movement, maintains clean and simple lines with beautiful use of raw materials including wood and copper and a hint of Asian influence. Intricate woodwork gives the structures a timeless handcrafted look, and rustic materials tie them to the earth. The beautiful and warm interior of the Greene House reflects this sensibility. Simple lines and beautiful use of raw materials, Brazilian cherry wood flooring and ceiling beams, a granite exposition counter, copper hood in the kitchen and slate shingles are indicative of Craftsman architecture.
