The Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL) is a local organization in Southern California that advocates for climate and environmental justice. With a commitment to stewardship and protection of the Earth, COEJL mobilizes the Jewish community to advance eco-justice, increase sustainability, and advocate for policies that support environmental protection. They partner with national Jewish organizations to integrate environmental stewardship into communal life, support synagogues in bringing environmental education and action opportunities to Jewish families and communities, and participate in inter-religious and civic coalitions to protect the environment and our common future. COEJL also provides resources, organizes events, and encourages individuals to take action in promoting a clean and safer world for all.
